Hey Buzz,

I'll go along with the Steffen rod admiration society. I've got a 2/3 wt. that I won at one of my fly club banquets.

It's really sweet on the San Juan, a little light, but a lot of fun. (Yes, I DO put away the indicator sometimes.)

The Juan is a large and (often) open and located in a canyon. It can get a bit of afternoon wind. Casting that rod doesn't work so well then. I'll be curious to see if the faster rod can power my #24 & #26 flies a little better in the p.m.

We've gotta wet a line together this year!
